BmxMata - Rising Athlete of New Zealand
Young Bmxrider, BmxMata is taking the racing world by storm at just 9 years old. Hailing from the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand and Tahiti, BMXMata has captured the hearts of followers and racers alike with his lightning-fast skills and fearless attitude on the track. Since strapping on his first helmet and hopping on a BMX bike at the age of 5, BmxMata has been on a meteoric rise in the world of BMX racing. Known for his incredible speed, daring tricks in freestyle BMX, his unwavering determination, BMXMata has already clinched multiple titles in his age group and continues to represent his country at a international level consistently winning 1st place for Oceania title for Australia / Newzealand and holding the South,North, and Newzealand tiltes. “As the world's best cycling city and Grand Départ for the Tour de France in 2022, it is right in the spirit of the city that Copenhagen will host the UCI World Championships in BMX in 2025.
The staging of the event builds on a solid BMX foundation initiated by the hosting of the event in 2011. The Copenhagen BMX venue hosted the UCI BMX World Cups 2009 and 2010 as well the UCI BMX World Championships 2011. UCI technical delegate will create an outstanding BMX venue for the World Championships in 2025.

Matatini competed in the 2022 UCI Worlds in Nantes, France in 2022, becoming World 8. Ironically he raced well every race leading up to the grand finals for 10 boys .

After missing out on last year's Nationals, Oceania, and 2023 worlds in Glasgow, he must regain entry from this year's BMXNZ racing season. His JOURNEY to compete [ 10 boys UCI Bmx world Championships ] as a New Zealand representative at the worlds in COPENGHAGEN 2025 will be
achieved by hard work, passion, and lots of luck!

Mata believes in sportsmanship first. UCI bmx worlds 2024 .The sport is exciting but dangerous as you get older towards development, and we are all in it together. While he is very competitive in bmx racing , he also wants to support all the competitors as we strive to make the sport of BMX more accessible to Maori and Polynesians.
